By accessing or using our site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

“Customer,” “you,” or “your” means any person who visits or makes a purchase through our site.
“Products” refers to physical books, e‑books, and audiobooks sold on our site.
“Digital Content” means e‑books and audiobooks delivered electronically.
2. Account Registration
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract.
Account Information. When you register, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and for all activities under your account.
3. Orders & Pricing
Order Acceptance. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (e.g., out‑of‑stock, pricing error, or suspected fraud).
Prices. Prices are displayed in USD (or your local currency) and exclude applicable taxes and shipping charges. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
Confirmation. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order; this does not constitute acceptance. Your order is accepted when we ship the Products or deliver Digital Content.
4. Payment
Methods. We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods displayed at checkout.
Authorization. Payment will be authorized at the time of order. If authorization fails, we may cancel your order.
Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales, value‑added, or other taxes.
5. Physical Books
Shipping. See our Shipping & Delivery Terms for details on carriers, rates, and delivery estimates.
Risk of Loss. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
6. Digital Content (E‑books & Audiobooks)
License. We grant you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use Digital Content for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
Delivery. Upon payment confirmation, you will receive instructions to download/access the Digital Content.
Restrictions. You may not rent, sublicense, distribute, modify, or publicly perform Digital Content, nor remove any proprietary notices.
7. Returns & Refunds
Physical Books. Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery. Books must be in original condition. Shipping fees are non‑refundable.
Digital Content. All sales of e‑books and audiobooks are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by law (e.g., defective files).
Procedure. To initiate a return/refund, contact Customer Support at support@alexander-bernhardt.us with your order number and reason.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our site (text, graphics, logos, images, software) is our property or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. No content may be used without our prior written permission.
9. User Conduct
By using our site you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or infringe others’ rights.
- Use the site to distribute malware or harmful code.
